An understated and emotional ceremony at the beautiful North Cathedral in Cork for Liam and Michelle today. Following some changes of plan they took care of the legal part yesterday amongst immediate family and had their marriage blessed today in the presence of the family who had travelled for the originally planned ceremony (yes, she got to wear the dress twice!). Here's the music we played for the ceremony:

It's easy for anyone to get caught up in the planning but they are a perfect reminder of a wedding being about two people getting married, and that the rest of the "weddding" stuff is extra. If you and your loved ones are present to celebrate your marraige - that's all that matters. We met the couple in April at the Maryborough House Hotel to plan their music just before they went for their tasting, we're sure they are celebrating in the beautiful weather at the reception there! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
