On a lovely day in the middle of July, we took a trip out to the Maryborough House Hotel in Douglas to play for Karen and Fionn's civil ceremony. The ceremony room looked so cute! They managed to fit in loads of music into the ceremony, as far as I remember this one was done by a HSE celebrant, yet it was so personal, there's so much room for music and readings in there! Here's what they chose for their ceremony:

I still remember Fionn with tears in his eyes as Karen walked up to Songbird, it was really special and very sweet! Afterwards we played out in the marquee ("The Bubble") for the drinks reception where we met some familiar faces, it was great craic altogether! We got a chance to speak to the couple too which was lovely, as always! Congratulations to Karen and Fionn and all the best for the future!
