On the second-longest day of the year we made a trip down to Kenmare to play for the wedding ceremony of Phoebe and Nick in the beauuutiful church in Dawros. The church is surrounded by greenery and is so peaceful and quaint, it's such a gorgeous little spot and the weather was spectacular which made it even better! Here is the music they chose for their ceremony: Before the Ceremony: Cliffs of Dooneen, Dawning of the Day, Sally Gardens, Stand by Me, You're Beautiful, Edelweiss, Gabriel's Oboe, Flower Duet Entrance: How Long Will I Love You Lighting of the Separate Candles: Roll Back The Clouds After the Responsorial Psalm, before the second reading: Ave Maria Lighting of the Marriage Candle: Roll Back The Clouds Offertory: Inis Oirr Sign of Peace: When You Were Sweet 16 Communion: 1. Canon 2. Clair de Lune Signing of the Register: 1. Danny Boy 2. Signed, Sealed, Delivered Recessional: We Are Young |
We were greeted by a piper upon arrival at Dromquinna Manor, and we set up outside, overlooking Kenmare Bay. Lucky us! We had all sorts of requests from the guests, they were great craic, and Nick and Phoebe didn't need to go very far for amazing photos, so got to mix with their guests and chat to us also. I didn't get any photos of their cute macaroon tower, I was too busy enjoying mine to stop and take a photo! They took the time to write to us to say thank you, and we would like to in turn thank them for having us as part of their day - Congratulations Nick and Phoebe!!
