One one of only two Wednesday weddings for us this year, we played for Siobhán and Robert's ceremony in the incredibly beautiful and historic Fort Camden in Crosshaven, Cork. This fort is over 400 years old and sits overlooking Cork Harbour. The inside of the fort is spectacular and the views from the outside, as you can see for yourself, are magnificent!
Siobhán walked into "You'll Never Walk Alone", and they walked out together to "Better Together" by Jack Johnson, a really funky tune! There was other music during the candle ceremonies and the signing of the register, but as we decided the music about two days beforehand over the phone I have no written reminder of what those pieces were! It'll come back to me maybe!
Siobhán kept it very cool in a knee length dress with a black belt, and they kept the ceremony room simple with candles ribbons - the ceremony room didn't need decoration and they certainly didn't need to add anything outside! There were plenty of sandwiches and sweet treats throughout the drinks reception, and they wrapped up the drinks party with a great group photo before moving on to Bunny's in Myrtleville for their meal. They kept the earlier part wonderfully low-key and we could see how stress-free they were, we're sure they really managed to relax and enjoy themselves that evening!!!
